TLMI is adding three new staff to take on new initiatives and responsibilities. In welcoming these professionals, Dan Muenzer, TLMI president, says, “Our three new musketeers will help tackle programs and portfolios that will strengthen TLMI’s ability to support the industry.” Kyle Baldwin, membership director, comes to TLMI to revitalize membership relationships with a focus on new member growth. As membership director, Baldwin will help to implement new initiatives to further membership engagement with an emphasis on membership communications. In addition, he will be tasked with TLMI’s strategic goal for the implementation and success of the Workforce Recruitment Committee. Baldwin has been in the labels and packaging industry for seven years, working for Spear as marketing manager and most recently as marketing manager at NuLabel Technologies. As a startup, Baldwin helped to build the marketing and sales infrastructures to support NuLabel through their growth phase. While at Spear, he was an engaged member in the matrix recycling committee, liner recycling committee, and young leaders committee. Baldwin holds a BA in Economics with a minor in Finance from Miami University. Rosalyn Bandy, director, Label Initiative for the Environment (L.I.F.E.), comes to TLMI to help the industry use printing and label materials wisely and help move the industry toward growth and innovation without waste. As L.I.F.E. director, she will work to streamline and promote the LIFE certification and assist members with that process. Bandy is a familiar face to many in the TLMI community, having co-chaired the environmental committee, and the matrix recycling subcommittee. She has held sustainability positions in the label and packaging industry, including Avery Dennison and Daymon Worldwide (private label packaging). Most recently, she worked as community liaison with Cornell University to modernize the electrical grid and create affordable battery storage for clean energy production. Bandy holds an MS in Environmental Science and an MS in Public Administration from Syracuse University. Charles Millitzer, research analyst, is a graduate of Xavier University and an MA candidate in Private Interests and Public Good program. He brings a varied background, including a Senate campaign internship and a market research internship at Constantia Flexibles. Millitzer is located in TLMI’s new Milford, OH office and will be the organization’s full-time “boots on the ground” analyst as TLMI transitions the office from Virginia. He will be focused on industry and membership research while also providing on-going administrative support to both staff and members. He will be with TLMI on a one-year assignment as he completes his graduate thesis.
